Wood Accents is proudly designated as Maine Made. "Maine Made is recognized worldwide as a term for quality and integrity," said Elaine Scott in a letter from the Maine Products Marketing Program.
Donald is a member of the Society of Southern Maine Craftsmen and United Maine Craftsmen and frequently appears at many of the guilds' shows. His work has been sold in craft shops and galleries in New England in addition to stores as far away as Tokyo, Japan.
Wood Accents acquires imported woods from renewable resources and recycled materials. Woods are imported from around the world including Pink Ivory Wood from South Africa and Amarillo from South America. Many of the domestic hardwoods such as Maple, Oak, Apple, Cherry and Mulberry come from Maine sources.
